scammer
scammer on the move!

1.) Trusting nature: Some people tend to be more trusting and may believe what scammers tell them, making them more vulnerable to scams. In other words, mabilis mabola or mauto dahil maganda or pogi ang profile pic ni ate or kuya. Hindi porket maganda at pogi mapagkakatiwalaan, karamihan sa kanila manloloko din.

2.) Impulsiveness: Scammers often use urgency or time-limited offers to encourage people to act quickly without thinking things through, leading to impulsive decisions. It is important that we need to think a hundred times muna bago magbigay ng matamis mong "Oo"

3.) Greed: Scammers often appeal to people's greed, promising them something that seems too good to be true, which can blind people to the potential risks. It's really true, I was once a victim too, at sabi nga nila sobrang mahal ang experience na mascam online lalo na sa MLM scam. Buti sana kung piso piso lang labanan pero pag million na pinaguusapan parang ayaw mo nang mabuhay sa mundong ibabaw pag nascam...char lang! Kaya wag masyadong hayok!

4.) Lack of knowledge: Some people lack the technical knowledge to detect a scam or the knowledge to understand the risks associated with sharing personal information online. My take on this is that don't be so complacent, use the internet and other resources to do the LEGIT check. You can always ask the community or the group you join if they happen to know this person or company.

5.) Emotional vulnerability: Scammers may target people who are emotionally vulnerable or going through a difficult time, using empathy to gain their trust. Yes magaling mga scammers dyan masyadong matatamis yung mga pangako. Tapos yung mga pananalita sobrang eloquent with empathy most of the time kaya wag masyadong maniwala always be on the look out.

6.) Urgency and fear tactics: Scammers often create a sense of urgency or use fear tactics to pressure people into making quick decisions or divulging sensitive information. For example, they may threaten to take legal action or shut down accounts if you don't act immediately. In short, nagmamadali para makapangloko ng maraming tao. This is very common when you see ads with the promo "CTA" (call to action) it says "It ends right now" to trigger you to take action now before the promo ends. Pero yung ending is goodbye hindi mo na mahagilap after making a payment. Well Karma is there they will reap what they sow in due time.

7.) False sense of security: Scammers may use logos or branding of well-known companies to create a false sense of security and legitimacy. They may also use social engineering tactics to make it seem like they have inside information or authority. Guys always make your due diligence to check on the authenticity. Check for official website, FB page, trunkline etc. These days read reviews if there are, it says a lot about them.

8.) Lack of knowledge or awareness: Some people may not be aware of the risks associated with certain online activities or may not be knowledgeable about how to protect themselves from scams. This makes them more vulnerable to falling for scams. Kaya huwag tayong tamad sa pagresearch tapos eemote emote pag nascam online. Knowledge is power kaya basa basa pag meron time. Rich people, millionaires and billionaires read tons of books to get the "GOLD" nugget they can learn and apply them into action!

9.) Emotional vulnerability: Scammers may specifically target people who are going through difficult times or are emotionally vulnerable, such as those who are grieving, lonely, or experiencing financial hardship. Kaya huwag tayo emotera move on move on din pagmay time kasi whether you like it or not, time will pass and no one can stop it unless you do something about. Sabi nga nila "It's not what happened that matters it's what you "Do" that matters in life. Kaya wag na magpatumpik tumpik...alam nyo na guys.

10.) Overconfidence: Some people may think that they are too smart or savvy to fall for a scam, and may let their guard down as a result. Scammers can be very skilled at what they do, however, and it's important to stay vigilant and aware of the risks. Yup agree, wag sobrang self "Entitled" kasi minsan yun pa yung maging downfall natin. I don't practice this but I assert for what I paid especially when it comes to service. Baka ibang service naman yan sir hahaha legit na service guys you get what you, I get what I want. Fair is fair and always pay fair market value for the service because it will make you feel good about yourself and it boost your confidence. Wag mangburaot ng ibang tao just be fair and square.

The universe sees it and someone is watching you from the distance hahaha. Kaya It's important to be aware of these reasons and take steps to protect yourself online, such as being cautious when sharing personal information, verifying the authenticity of offers or deals, and staying informed about the latest scams.

Feel free to add more insights about what you think are the other reasons why we get scammed online and how can be stray away from it. Thank you guys!
